It's summer, and that means short nights, and moth nights. Our launch theme, then, is moths - those creatures who, to use Walter de la Mare's words, in ecstasy swirl and sway to their strange trysts.
You can read three new poems that we have commissioned (well, scrounged). We introduce Moth Requiem from last year's BBC Proms, complete with a full performance on video.
And in the moth-free zone there is a review of a deceptively sophisticated celebration of Britain's forests in sound, a guide to nature-inspired performances coming up over the summer, and plenty more besides.
And don't forget to keep up to date with our editor's nature diaries, too. Enjoy!
